Solar power will provide the energy to this eco-friendly form of space transportation. The space transportation infrastructure that Space Railway seeks to develop is scalable in its numbers and size. It will have the ability to provide railway-like efficiencies in delivering passengers and payload through our solar system.

Space Railway presents a revolutionary approach to tethered space access different than the space elevator. Space Railway has solved many problems previously plaguing space elevator concepts by utilizing magnetic levitation coupled with jet engines for propulsion which allows the HTV to fully capitalize on the strength, superconductivity, and ultralightweight characteristics of carbon nanotubes to achieve speeds greater than the fastest rockets.

Space Railway's innovation will disrupt the Space Transportation Industry by its enhanced delivery of payload and passengers. Space Railway will deliver ten times the personnel and equipage in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), high Earth orbit (HEO) at ten times greater frequency at one-tenth the cost of current rocket systems. With Space Railway, interplanetary travel to the cis-lunar region, Mars, the Asteroid Belt, and beyond will finally become a reality.
