A four tiny NanoFiche discs destined for the Lunar Codex Polaris mission contain

• Thousands of poems from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, South America, and yes including Antarctica
• Thousands of contemporary artworks from visual artists all over the globe
• Hundreds of Indigenous artworks from First Nations, Metis, and Inuit artists
• Scores of North American short stories, and scores of movie posters

In late 2025, these and 20+ more discs will join the Lunar Codex collection of the works of thousands of creative artists already on the Moon, and those slated to journey there in the next few months.

All in all, the Lunar Codex represents the creative work of over 35,000 artists from 255 countries, territories, and Indigenous nations, in an effort to preserve contemporary culture in time capsules for the future, and to inspire artists in the present.

• Codex Minerva + ISF archives launched Feb 26, 2025, landed vicinity of Mons Mouton on the Moon Mar 6, 2025 via NASA CLPS-TO-PRIME-1 mission
• Codex Polaris + LunARC + ISF archives launching to Nobile Crater lunar region no earlier than Dec 2025 via NASA CLPS-TO-20A mission
• Codex Freya fly-by of Moon & NE asteroid, with potential rendezvous, launch no earlier than May 2026 via NASA CLPS-TO-CP11 mission
