The Xcraft will carry multiple sensors for Earth observation, space domain awareness and astronomy, Rich said. The payloads will offer hyperspectral imaging data, high-resolution video and ultraviolet data products, she added. “Advanced data products will be offered by fusing data generated by our diverse sets of imagers.” Xplore said its hyperspectral imagery will be offered at 2-meter and 5-meter resolution. The company’s long-term plan is to build a constellation of 12 Xcraft platforms carrying eight primary instruments.
